What we Do
Working with mining communities and promoting governance for a sustainable extractive sector through the promotion of social economic aspects such as ASM sector organizational development, gender equity, youth and child protection, local stakeholder dialogue, market access, profitability, and access to mining rights and human rights. Improving environmental compliance by conserving the ecosystem and responsible using toxic substances such as mercury and cyanide in gold processing, and ultimately fostering community engagement and good practices between communities and mining entities. All of this seeks to enhance the social and economic well-being of mining communities, support local and national economic growth, and mitigate adverse environmental impacts.
